I just want to let you know that we have launched a Pemberton DNA project here: http://www.familytreedna.com/public/pemberton/
I have submitted my sample to represent my branch of the family. Ideally we will have a least one, preferably two males from each branch submit their DNA samples for testing. The DNA project will be especially helpful to all Pemberton researchers in breaking through "brick walls" because it will be easy to identify very close branches and the wall may thus be approached by coming down another close line to the back side of the wall. This DNA study is an important adjunct to the Pemberton One-Name Study.
You can read more about how DNA projects work in the DNA section of the One-Name Study page here: http://one-name.org/profiles/pemberton.html
Please consider forwarding this info to anyone who may be interested.
Happy searching!
