I am creating this blog to publicly record research efforts in a Pemberton one-name study. This is an ongoing project to identify and publish all the Pemberton events from the earliest down to 1850. This end date is arbitrarily set for two reasons:
A) to reduce to the overall project to a reasonable effort, and
B) to protect living Pembertons from easy access to data that could be used by unsavoury people for unworthy purposes.
Research Notes of the Pemberton Surname Project in which all Pembertons from the earliest down to 1850 are identified insomuch as possible.
